Delete Your Account
Your writing is yours to keep, and yours to take back
You can ask us to delete your Six Pages account and the data connected to it at any time. You do not need to give a reason.
Delete your account in the app
The quickest way is from inside the app. Open the menu, go to account settings, and choose Delete My Account. This removes your account and its associated data directly.
Request deletion by email
You can also ask us to delete your account by email. Send a message from the address associated with your account to the address below, with the word "Delete" in the subject line. Using your account email helps us confirm the request is yours.
What gets deleted
When you close your account, we delete or anonymize the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your account information, including your display name and email address
- The content you have written across your sessions
- Your session summaries and saved reflections
Certain records may be retained where required or permitted for safety or legal reasons. In particular, if you have used the crisis support feature, the crisis interaction log may be retained even after account deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
We delete or anonymize your personal data within 48 hours of account closure, except where we are required by law to retain certain records for longer. Anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you may be kept for the purpose of improving the App.
For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
